Other Breeds

Miniature Goats Australia promote and encourage Miniature Nubians and Miniature Boer Goats as well as The Elf breed.
These breeds are being bred down from the larger breeds by various breeders throughout Australia.

Miniature Nubians
Primarily Nubians are bred for milk.  The myriad of smaller parcels of land has foundered the attraction of breeding a much smaller animal.  Nubians are well known for their docile temperaments which further progresses their attraction to breeders.

Miniature Boers
Boers are bred primarily for meat. Boers have a cheeky temperament.  Boers are muscled and heavy to handle which makes breeding them smaller more attractive.

Elf
The Elf breed is characterized by their tiny ears.  Animals can be milked.
